A Yule Story

So, I’ve been a bit delayed in getting this up, but I’m happy to announce that I have another short story out in a new anthology. As some of you may recall from this earlier post, my writer’s block coincided with my laments of a lack of accurate, non-stereotyped, modern depictions of pagans in the media, particularly children’s media. So, I set out to write a story about the kind of pagans I know in real life for the winter-themed third installment in the Wolf Warriors charity anthology series. Thus, “Yuletide Carols” was born. Gate Night Storytime

“It was Gate Night, the night before All Hallows’ Eve. Distant memories of the old stories nagged at me. During All Hallows’ Eve the veil between the world of the living and the word beyond was lifted. We Will Go Home Across the Mountains

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, all! As an Irish American, a mythology/religion major, and a pagan, I have a lot of complicated feelings about this holiday, but I do appreciate the chance to revel in the swirling, turbulent history of our world and my own family (and blast my Irish folk music without restraint). Linky Goodness and Some Good News

As many of you may know, my novella, Beneath Blair Mountain, was published by 1888/Black Hill Press alongside Let’s Stalk Rex Jupiter! and A Stalled Ox as part of the Mariya Suzuki Collection. Over the holidays the collection had its first blog tour, which I wrote two guest posts for. Below are links to all five blog stops. I have also added the two guest posts to the interviews list on my How to Find Me (And My Work) section, along with some good news. Drumroll please… I have a humorous fantasy short in a forthcoming anthology, so stay tuned. Continue reading
